The folding/sliding doors come fully machined and pre-sized to the required specification. The only machining required is to fit the door handles. The rest is simply a question of assembling the folding/sliding doors and frames, which has been designed to be an extremely straight forward process.

The track and aluminium cill are pre-fitted to the timber parts of the frame, meaning the folding/sliding door frame simply requires assembling using the 12 screws provided.

All holes are either pre-drilled or clearly marked where the folding/sliding door hardware fits.

All fixings required to secure the frame into the brickwork are provided, along with the fixing screws for securing the folding/sliding door frame head into the steel lintel*. Even the correct diameter and length of HSS and masonry drill bits, plus the driver bits to fit the screws, are included.

It is recommended installation is undertaken by a professional tradesperson. Alternatively an experienced and competent DIYer should be capable of fitting VUFOLD doorsets.
